Constructed by Dr Mashirito based on the blueprints for Arale, this robot was designed as a male counterpart. Initially referred to as "Caramelman #4" by his creator, he is characterized by his extremely polite and well-mannered demeanor. Arale addresses him as Obotchiman-kun, and he eventually develops into a romantic interest for her.
