Summary
Kunikida serves as one of Kyon's friends, though he plays a minor role with very little dialogue. He is notably quieter than Taniguchi, who tends to do most of the talking when the two are together. Because Kunikida and Kyon attended the same junior high school, he appears to have some insight into Kyon's personal life. For instance, he once remarked that Kyon likes weird girls, using this observation as evidence to support the notion that Kyon is romantically interested in Haruhi.
