Summary
Uekusa is a second-year student at Ryonan who wears jersey number eight. Standing at 170 cm and weighing 62 kg, he plays as the team's Point Guard. His voice is portrayed by Kōzō Shioya, with Koji Tsujitani providing the voice in episodes 74 and 75, and Shinobu Satouchi in episode 76. Although Uekusa maintains a discreet presence on the court, he plays a significant role in Ryonan's playmaking, particularly when Koshino is absent. While he is not considered a particularly strong player, he is capable of holding his own during matches. Sendoh even acknowledges Uekusa for his high stamina. However, during the game against Shohoku, Uekusa was completely outplayed and exhausted by Miyagi.
