Summary

Hinata Shouyou is a first-year student in class 1 at Karasuno High School, where he serves as the team’s middle blocker wearing number 10. Formerly a member of the Yukigaoka Junior High team, the 16-year-old born on June 21, 1996, stands at 162.8 cm in April 2012, growing to 164.2 cm by November of that year, with a weight of 51.9 kg. His volleyball parameters reveal a unique profile: while his power, intellect, and technique are rated low, his jump, stamina, and speed are exceptional. To compensate for his short stature, he trained his legs from a young age to develop an unusually high jumping ability. Despite being a complete beginner with no prior team experience, he joins Karasuno and quickly amazes his teammates with his natural affinity for spiking, growing rapidly through every match. Personality-wise, Hinata is cheerful, energetic, and friendly, able to befriend anyone from Kenma of Nekoma High to Aone of Date Tech. He is a natural schmoozer, often used by teammates like Nishinoya to win people over, and is one of the loudest members alongside Nishinoya and Tanaka. Although he gets excited easily and can be frightened by larger or stronger opponents, he recovers quickly to confidently challenge them.
