Summary
In Kotonoha no Niwa, Yukino is a mysterious 27-year-old woman whom Takao encounters on a rainy day in the garden. She is often seen holding a chocolate in one hand and a beer in the other, and their morning meetings during the rain commence after she replies to Takao’s greeting using classic verse. In Kimi no Na wa, Yukari serves as the Japanese literature teacher for Mitsuha, Tessie, and Sayaka. In this role, she instructs the students on the term Kataware-doki, which signifies twilight in the local Hida dialect.
