Summary
Toshiki Miyamizu is portrayed as a highly occupied individual and the estranged father of Mitsuha and Yotsuha Miyamizu. After the death of his wife, Futaba, he turned away from the Miyamizu shrine and its traditions to embark on a political career. He assumed the role of mayor of Itomori two years following his wife's passing, a position he had held for four years by the year 2013.
