Hoshika
Son, Gohan

Summary

Gohan is a half-Saiyan, half-human scholar born in Age 757. Standing 175 cm tall and weighing 70 kg, he is a dual main character of Dragon Ball Z alongside his father, Gokuu. Initially a shy and studious child who lacked the typical Saiyan fighting spirit, Gohan taps into his vast half-breed potential to protect loved ones, becoming one of the most powerful figures in the series. As an adult, he retires from superhero duties to focus on his career as a premier scholar. His power level occasionally surpasses that of Gokuu, Piccolo, and Vegeta. Gohan shares a profound bond with Piccolo, who acts as an uncle (Oji-san) after saving him from Nappa. Krillin also serves as a trusted confidant, especially during the Namek and Buu arcs. Gohan deeply admires Gokuu, drawing strength from his father’s confrontation with Freeza on Namek. They spend nearly a year together in the Room of Spirit and Time, and Gohan honors his father by wearing Gokuu’s orange gi when facing Buu. Despite claiming to dislike fighting, Gohan feels obligated to help when danger strikes. He enjoys heroics, evident in his Great Saiyaman persona, but fears his own immense power, once worrying he might kill Cell. His hobbies include reading, fishing, researching, and eating all types of food, and he favors the House Wagon.
