In the year 0079 of the Universal Century, humanity has expanded into space, residing in colony clusters referred to as "Sides." One such Side proclaims itself the "Principality of Zeon" and initiates a war against the Earth Federation, the governing authority that controls Earth. Utilizing powerful humanoid robots called "mobile suits," Zeon swiftly gains an advantage. Nine months into the war, the Earth Federation has created its own formidable mobile suit, the Gundam. When Zeon attacks the colony housing the Gundam, a 15-year-old civilian named Amuro Ray is suddenly thrust into a battle that carries him across Earth and space, opposing the enemy's ace pilot, Char Aznable.

During an era of rigid class divisions and escalating hardship among the common people, the Austrian Empire sends Princess Marie Antoinette to France to marry Crown Prince Louis XVI. This political marriage is intended to strengthen the alliance between the two nations, but the future queen deeply resents having her fate decided for her. Upon her arrival, Marie Antoinette is introduced to Oscar Fançois de Jarjayes, Commander of the Royal Guard. Because her father longed for a son, Oscar was raised as a boy and expected to inherit his title as Commander. Can Doraemon truly succeed in changing Nobita, or will he stay the same?

The narrative builds toward a pivotal choice Anne must face, one that will permanently alter the course of her life.

Joe Shimamura and his comrades seem like ordinary people, but they are far from it. Joe is actually Cyborg 009, part of a group of cyborgs dedicated to fighting for justice. Each cyborg possesses a unique ability, ranging from melting any substance to breathing underwater and flying. He and the other eight cyborgs were unwillingly transformed by the Neo-Black Ghosts organization to serve their own agenda. However, they chose to unite and wield their powers against their former creators and any evil forces.

The dying King of the Flower Planet cannot pass his throne to his heir until the legendary Seven Color Flower—the emblem of the King's power—is located. The Angels Cateau and Noveau are dispatched to Earth to locate the Flower Girl, a young female descended from both humans and Flower Angels (who once lived on Earth long ago), and they discover Lunlun in France. The Angels persuade her to embark on an extended quest to find the Flower; along the way, she will encounter both the kindness and cruelty of humans and Flower Angels (personified by the ambitious Togenishia and her sidekick Boris), and she will fall in love with Serge Flora, a man hiding a great secret.

After Leader X is apparently destroyed for good at the conclusion of Gatchaman II, a surviving fragment of him grows and transforms into Z. Alongside the head of the Egobossler family, Count Egobossler (and his two underlings Mechandol and Kempler), Z is determined to destroy Earth and once again target the Science Ninja Team. Following Anderson's death, Dr. Nambu becomes the new leader of the ISO, while the team is confined to the underwater base Gallatown (also called "G-Town"). Engineer Kamo is introduced, and after the New GodPhoenix is destroyed early on, the team receives the new Gatchaspartan as their mecha. The Gatchaspartan also has a special mode called Hypershoot, which only Ken can use (with his new "Gatchafencer" sword). As the story progresses, it is revealed that the radiation exposure from frequent use of the Hypershoot is slowly killing Ken, and continued use would result in death. Meanwhile, Z plans to destroy Earth using an antimatter asteroid codenamed "Poison Apple."

In 2052, Earth enjoys a period of peace until the Death Force—merciless aliens fleeing a dying solar system—arrives, seeking a new home. They strike Earth using a colossal satellite vessel known as Terror Star and begin terraforming the planet for their own use. Humanity's sole hope rests on Colin Collins and a handful of his fellow surviving students, who must operate a secret submersible craft capable of battling the invaders both on the sea and in outer space.

It is the year 1995. An alien army from the Saar cluster called the Akron has conquered Earth. The planet's cities lie in ruins, and the remaining survivors endure harsh lives in shanty towns and villages. War orphan Kento hides in a cave with his companions to escape bandits. Inside, they discover the secret base of Dr. Earl, an inhabitant of the planet Helios—a world also conquered by the Akron. Dr. Earl escaped to Earth, bringing with him Helios's greatest technological achievement: the super robot Daltanius, whose power is amplified when combined with the intelligent lion robot Beralios. Dr. Earl entrusts the fight for Earth to Kenta, who turns out to be a descendant of the long-vanished Helian royal line.

Arthur's parents are slain by the wicked Lavic, positioning him as a candidate for the throne of all Britain. Together with his valiant knights, he sets out on a journey to find the Holy Shield—the sole means to defeat Lavic and bring unity to the kingdom.

Shortly after being born, a young squirrel arrives at a farm and is caught by a human. The human then tries to give the squirrel to their pet cat, but the cat feels sorry for the squirrel and adopts it as their own child, naming it Banner. Banner and the cat live happily on the farm, but their joy does not last. A fire destroys the farm, and Banner becomes separated from his mother the cat.

Nell lives with her grandfather, Mr. Trent, who runs a shop in London. Unable to repay a loan he took out, Mr. Trent is forced to flee with Nell. Together, they set out to find Nell's mother, who resides somewhere in Great Britain.

Sasuke follows a young ninja child and begins immediately after the Battle of Sekigahara, where Tokugawa Ieyasu becomes the shogun of Japan. Sarutobi Sasuke (Jump Like Monkey Sasuke) was a well-known ninja serving under Sanada Daisuke, who fought on the losing side against Ieyasu. He was believed to have taken his own life when trapped inside a castle, but the story reveals he actually escaped and that Sarutobi is not the name of a single ninja but rather an entire ninja clan.

Seventeen-year-old Marco Polo departs from his home in Venice on a journey to the obscure land of "Yuan," accompanied by his father Nicolo and his uncle Matteo. They are tasked with delivering the sacred oil from the Tomb of Christ and a letter from the Pope to the Kublai.
