After his victory, Luck soon meets up with his old friends: the hero Eric Imgard Mendirival and the warrior Goran Morton. Having believed Luck was dead, the pair had ensured he would be remembered as a hero in history and had prepared to suppress the demons' resurgence themselves, unaware of what Luck had accomplished. With all of this behind him, Luck simply desires a peaceful life. He registers as a novice adventurer under the alias Lock and sets off on a journey with fresh companions.
