Set ten years ahead, this recap explores a world where Gods, Demons, and Humans travel freely between their respective realms like overseas tourists, with romance blossoming everywhere. The barriers that once divided them have crumbled, allowing the three races to intermingle, fall in love, and build new families together. Rin Tsuchimi looks back on his past memories, revisiting the significant events that transpired between him and Lisianthus, Nerine, Kaede, Asa, and Primula.

Kaname Okiura attends Prefectoral Umineko Shougyou High, better known as "Umishou," and joined the school's swimming club hoping to learn how to swim. However, the club is full of eccentrics, and none of them can actually teach him. Then a cheerful, carefree girl named Amuro Ninagawa transfers from Okinawa and joins the club. Her astonishing speed underwater and unconventional swimming technique—along with her habit of swimming nude, which naturally attracts the attention of teenage boys—stuns every member. Okiura is especially taken aback because she reminds him of a mermaid-like creature he glimpsed just once in early childhood.

The eternal Sakura Trees make their return. Serving as a sequel to the original DaCapo game for the PS2, this narrative is set on Hatsunejima, occurring 53 years after the conclusion of the events in D.C. and D.C.S.S.. While some characters may seem familiar to seasoned viewers, the ensemble is largely new. The story centers on Yoshiyuki Sakurai, the new protagonist, who resides next door to the Asakura sisters, Yume and Otome. These two are the granddaughters of Junichi and Nemu from the first season.

Ink Nijihara is a high school student whose crush, Nao Tezuka, barely notices her existence. Her problems are compounded by her short stature. However, after encountering a duck, she transforms into a mahou shoujo and begins teaching Nao English while in disguise.

In the realm of Kamitsumihara, where remnants of magic and ancient lore still linger, the Kamiazuma clan has served as the protector since the land's inception. The narrative centers on Touka Kamiazuma, the primary protagonist, whose life changes when he meets Momoka Kawakabe, a young girl who arrives to reside with the clan. This encounter triggers a series of occurrences that breathe life into an old legend.

This animated spin-off originates from the Densha Otoko (Trainman) television drama. Within that drama, actor Itoh Atsushi portrays the otaku Yamada, whose primary passion is the Mina anime, featuring a cute, busty heroine with floppy rabbit ears and carrots protruding from her behind. Mina itself serves as a character homage that traces back to the Daicon Animation created by GAINAX, which included a similar unnamed bunny girl. Densha Otoko also had an opening sequence containing scenes that appeared in the Daicon Animation.
