The three Kisugi sisters—Rui, Hitomi, and Ai—run a small cafe called "Cat's Eye" during the day. To find their father, the missing artist Michael Heintz, Hitomi and her sisters steal artworks from galleries as the clever and elusive thief "Cat's Eye," hoping his paintings will provide clues about his disappearance. The crucial twist is that Hitomi is in a relationship with Toshi, a police inspector sworn to catch "Cat's Eye"—and he has no idea about Hitomi's secret double life.

The narrative centers on a young girl named Yuu, who gains the ability to use magic for one year after encountering a spaceship. Two cats, Poji and Nega, are assigned to watch over and guide her. Using her magical powers to transform into the idol Creamy Mami, Yuu must juggle acting, singing, helping her parents run their crepe shop, fighting aliens and villains, attending school, and attempting to earn the affection of her childhood friend Toshio.

Hashizo lost both parents when he was a baby and has been raised by his older brother. Hashizo's brother, Go Kato, is the lead singer of the rising rock band "Bee Hive." When Yakko meets Go and his friend and fellow "Bee Hive" member Satomi Okawa, an unforeseen chain of events begins. Love, jealousy, rock 'n roll, and the shine of newly emerging stars are what make this anime so endearing.

Mitsuo meets Superman, an alien belonging to a federation dedicated to maintaining galactic peace. He is equipped with a helmet that doubles as a mask, granting superhuman strength, a cape that enables flight, and a badge that allows underwater breathing and communication with comrades he soon meets. Superman warns all Permans that their identities must remain secret, or their brains will be destroyed if revealed. To maintain this secrecy, they receive special doppelganger robots that can substitute for them while they are away, although these substitutes are not entirely foolproof and may cause issues. These tools allow the young Permans to preserve peace and assist those in need.

Ryo accidentally traveled from the 1980s to the future and is trying to return. In the meantime, he works for the future police force, solving cases using his distinctive and often humorous methods.

Nanako is a young girl who suddenly gains supernatural abilities while simultaneously losing her memories from the past. By chance, a scientific prodigy named Marlow, a hardworking high school boy with grand ambitions, is present when she obtains her powers. Naively trusting him, Nanako agrees, but Marlow's true motive is to exploit her abilities for the benefit of his agency and himself. The story progresses as Nanako faces a series of perilous missions and puzzling events, yet her naturally cheerful outlook carries her through each incident as she resolves one mystery after another.
