Synopsis
This OVA adapts chapters 26 through 34 of the manga, centering on the Hoshi no Umi arc. The story follows Rin Azuma, a Jiang-Shi yokai living in Sakurashin who is getting used to urban life while working at a ramen shop. Her peace is interrupted when her former friend Zakuro Kurumaki arrives to capture Rin and persuade her to help her and other yokai hunters, along with the series' main villain Enjin Hiizumi, destroy the city. In response, Akina Hiizumi and the staff of the Hiizumi Life Counseling Office step in to rescue Rin, use their abilities to 'tune' the yokai manipulating Zakuro, and defend the city.
