Synopsis
Inspired by the first chapter of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen, the original tale describes a catastrophe caused by tools and technology. This theme links to the nuclear power plant accident that took place in Japan in 2011. Tsuji’s film seeks to weave together the original story and the real-life disaster in an interleaving manner.
