Continues the story of Super Danganronpa 2.5: Nagito Komaeda and the Destroyer of the World
Nagito Komaeda regains consciousness after dying in the Neo World Program. What sort of world awaits him, and why has he awakened? Nagito finds himself in a strange realm populated by students he has encountered before, along with others who never truly existed. He is an ordinary boy without his Ultimate Luck, attending a regular school. As a protagonist bound by his role, he believes that possessing a great talent would disrupt his contentment. He feels that living a mundane life, experiencing moderate happiness, and watching his classmates enjoy a normal youth is what makes everything wonderful. One day, however, a boy who calls himself "The Destroyer of the World" appears, taking the form of Hajime Hinata with red eyes. He sets out to demolish Nagito's world.

After the Future Foundation's collapse at the conclusion of the Final Killing Game and the exposure of its mastermind, a single survivor devises a drastic plan to eliminate despair across the entire world. To prevent this possibly catastrophic outcome, the remaining members of the Future Foundation must unite. Their efforts gain unexpected strength from an alliance with improbable allies as they fight against time to protect their world's stability. This concluding chapter of the Hope's Peak Academy storyline within the Danganronpa series shows the participants of the ongoing killing game beginning to grasp the deep consequences of despair, hope, and the path to redemption.
