Synopsis
The virtual realm within the scub coral—intelligent coral-like lifeforms—created by Eureka collapsed ten years ago, causing its inhabitants to appear on Earth. Following this large-scale amalgamation, the humans from the virtual world refer to themselves as "Green Earth," while the original Earth humans are known as "Blue Earth," leading to repeated subsurface conflicts between the two groups. Eventually, Dewey Novak, a senior officer in the Green Earth Armed Forces, rises alongside his comrades and sets a large-scale terrorism plan into motion to protect their own dignity. Meanwhile, Eureka, despised by the world as the primary cause of the chaos, has become a high-grade combatant in the UN's A.C.I.D. unit. Living to maintain peace in this world is the path of atonement she has chosen. One day, she receives an order to protect a girl named Iris, a new "Eureka" who possesses the ability to control scab coral. They initially clash frequently but gradually come to understand one another during their lonely escape. Soon the world faces a crisis, and when that occurs, Eureka draws on every last bit of her strength as she fights. "I want to protect Iris and this world." What future awaits her at the end of that wish?
