Synopsis

Continues the story of Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend

Legend says that humanity is not the sole dominant civilization on Earth. Two other races also exist: the Makai, a demon race, and the Juujinkai, a half-human, half-beast race. Every three thousand years, a supreme being called the "Choujin" (the Overfiend) appears to bring balance among the three realms. In modern-day Japan, after three centuries of relentless searching, a Juujinkai named Amano Jyaku discovers that the Choujin resides within Tatsuo Nagumo, a high school slacker. Now Amano, along with his sister Megumi and their sidekick Kuroko, must defend Nagumo and his new girlfriend Akemi Ito from the Makai, who believe Nagumo is not the Choujin but an evil entity bent on destroying all life on Earth.

In this installment

During World War II, the Nazis tried to break through the barriers separating the three worlds, but they failed. In the present, Dr. Myunihausen seeks to accomplish what they could not by taking control of Takeaki, Nagumo's brother. His plan is to take the place of the Chojin. When Takeaki is hurt while trying to escape, Nagumo aids him by transfusing his own blood, granting Takeaki the abilities of the overfiend. The consequences of this merging may prove too great for both Tokyo and the overfiend.
