Synopsis
In the Misurugi Empire, Princess Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi holds a position of prominence in a nation that has flourished through the advanced technology called "Mana." This mystical manipulation of light has brought about an era of lasting peace by putting an end to wars and environmental contamination. However, not everyone can use Mana, and those who cannot are branded as "Norma" and subjected to harsh persecution as perceived dangers to society. Angelise herself is among the loudest voices calling for the elimination of Norma. On her sixteenth birthday, a shocking revelation uncovers that Angelise is actually a Norma. In the ensuing turmoil and public fury, she is exiled to Arzenal, a remote military facility where Norma individuals are forced into service. Having once been royalty, Angelise must now adapt to a brutal and utterly transformed existence, fighting against enormous, destructive beings known as DRAGONs by piloting mechanical robots called "Paramail." Yet, a hidden truth about these monstrous creatures has the potential to overturn everything.
