Synopsis
In "Mob Psycho 100," Shigeo Kageyama, an eighth-grade boy called Mob, has struggled with immense psychic powers since childhood. To prevent the dangers of these abilities, he suppresses them tightly, only using them to win over Tsubomi, a girl he likes, though she eventually loses interest. Seeking purpose, Mob goes to work for Arataka Reigen, a fraudulent psychic who exploits Mob's skills for money. This makes routine exorcisms a normal part of Mob's life. Yet, the psychic energy Mob restrains could burst out destructively if his strong feelings or hidden power are released, changing him forever. This threat of an eruption remains constant, making it seem unlikely that it can be stopped.
