Synopsis
The prolonged conflict between the Royal Empire and the Republic of Frost concluded three years prior. In the aftermath, with both countries struggling to rebuild, Alice L. Malvin commands the Pumpkin Scissors, an imperial army unit dedicated to humanitarian relief efforts. While aiding a village overrun by rogue troops, Alice encounters Randal Oland, a former soldier marked by scars and a troubled history, yet possessing a compassionate soul. Inspired by the Pumpkin Scissors' work, Randal accompanies them. During the ensuing battle, a strange blue lantern triggers a trance in Randal, granting him immense physical power that allows him to annihilate the opposition. Although Alice is unsettled by his terrifying transformation, she recruits him into her squad, believing his inherent gentleness will ensure he fits well within the team.
