Teekyuu follows the absurd daily life of four schoolgirls who make up the entire membership of their school's tennis club. Kanae Shinjou gets bored easily and frequently defies the laws of physics to get what she wants; Nasuno Takamiya is extremely wealthy and skilled at manipulating situations in her favor; Marimo Bandou engages in behavior that would likely get her arrested, such as eating panties or kidnapping children; and Yuri Oshimoto, their ordinary junior, rounds out this eccentric group. Although they are interested in learning tennis, the older girls prefer to goof off, while Yuri—the only one who actually knows how to play and the most mature despite being younger—has to manage her seniors' uncontrollable antics. When these four girls come together, chaos erupts in this fast-paced comedy about a tennis club that rarely plays tennis.

Thus begins the Chidori Rifle-Shooting Club, whose sole ambition is to compete on the national stage.

However, the club is full of eccentrics, and none of them can actually teach him. Then a cheerful, carefree girl named Amuro Ninagawa transfers from Okinawa and joins the club. Her astonishing speed underwater and unconventional swimming technique—along with her habit of swimming nude, which naturally attracts the attention of teenage boys—stuns every member. Okiura is especially taken aback because she reminds him of a mermaid-like creature he glimpsed just once in early childhood.

Following their defeat at the hands of Suzuridani Academy, the Keishin Academy girls' basketball team—Tomoka Minato, Maho Misawa, Airi Kashii, Hinata Hakamada, and Saki Nagatsuka, together with their coach Subaru Hasegawa—pour even more time and effort into improving their skills in the sport day after day. However, this time, new rivals whose abilities may surpass theirs, as well as friends, appear on their journey toward the top.
