Tenchi Forever!

Synopsis

Tenchi retreats into the forest to be alone after another quarrel among his friends. While reflecting, he hears a voice calling from a camellia tree. He approaches it and disappears through a portal. Half a year later, Tenchi still hasn't returned home. Although most have abandoned hope of ever finding him, his friends refuse to give up and have divided into two teams. Aeka and Ryoukou stay on Earth to investigate while Washuu, Sasami, Kiyone, and Mihoshi search across the galaxy. Their efforts finally pay off when Tenchi's energy signature appears on their radar. But the joyful reunion must be postponed as the girls prepare for their greatest challenge yet—Tenchi has apparently lost all memory of them and is living contentedly with another woman. Rather than resolving their problems, finding Tenchi leaves them with even more mysteries.
