Synopsis
In Kenji Seki's everyday life, almost nothing ever changes. Each morning, he takes his dog to the shore, hoping to catch a glimpse of his classmate Kahori Harukawa as she surfs. Afterwards, he meets up with his neighbor and childhood friend Natsuki Suzuura, and they walk to school together. In short, he leads a peaceful existence where his biggest worry is figuring out how to finally confess his feelings to Kahori. This routine is shattered when a mysterious transfer student, Ryouichi Kyougoku, arrives. Claiming to be a psychic, Ryouichi possesses both the charisma and popularity that Kenji has always envied. Soon, Kahori starts to develop feelings for Ryouichi, and Natsuki grows distant whenever Kenji tries to discuss his own emotions. As Kenji's life descends into chaos, how will Ryouichi's presence affect those around him? Nerawareta Gakuen follows these once-ordinary high school students as they become entangled in the supernatural.
