Synopsis
McDull may not be the sharpest child around, but he always strives to do his best and make his mother proud. Even though it seems he might not achieve the great things his mother hopes for, McDull never quits. The story revolves around several episodes from McDull's childhood, presented as a reflective narrative from his adult self. These tales blend imaginative uses of Cantonese with abundant local Hong Kong culture. From a story about a turkey dinner to aspirations of following in Lee Lai-shan's footsteps, McDull navigates the ups and downs of life with his demanding yet devoted mother.
