This episode takes place during episode 11 as Nana tries to fit into the household while searching for a chore she can do and becoming accustomed to Nyu's presence, whom she only knows as Lucy. After running away when she gets scolded, Nana ends up at the beach and meets Bando, whom she promises to bring Lucy to later that night. Leaving the household with Nyu, it begins to rain; Nyu slips, hits her head, and is knocked unconscious. As Bando waits and everyone else worries about where they might be, Nana takes shelter with an unconscious Nyu while Lucy's consciousness begins to emerge and dreams an old memory of how she was captured and why she does not attack Director Kurama. As the rain begins to let up, Kouta and the others find Nana and Lucy and take them home. There, Nana finally finds the chore she will be doing—feeding the dog.
