Wonderful Adventures of Nils

Synopsis

Nils is a lazy and greedy boy whose troublemaking makes life miserable for everyone around him—his parents, the animals on the farm, and the fairy-like tomte he catches one day. He gets what he deserves when the tiny tomte casts a spell that shrinks Nils down to the same size as him! The only way to lift the curse is to travel to distant Lapland alongside Morten the farm goose, Carrot the hamster, and a flock of wild geese. Along the journey, he faces cruel witches, talking statues, wise ravens, and a particularly relentless fox. Under the stern but kind guidance of Captain Akka, the flock's leader, Nils uncovers his compassionate heart and grows to love nature. But when the moment comes, can he choose between his human family and his feathered friends?
