Synopsis
Third-year student Goshogawara of Musashi Mountain High School is the sole member of his school's sumo club. To be eligible for competitions, he seeks to recruit new members, and his earnestness and genuine passion persuade four others to join: judo team captain Kaoru Kiyokawa; professional wrestler Takayuki Kannai; scrawny aspiring delinquent Nanno Ippei; and Raiden Goro, a towering yet extremely shy individual who is also a skilled Go player. The five of them train together and eventually compete against a professional sumo club.
