Detective Conan Movie 09: Strategy Above the Depths

Synopsis

Fifteen years ago, a cruise ship vanished after striking an iceberg in the Pacific. Recently, ship engineer Hideto Yashiro died in a car crash, and a link between these incidents emerges on the luxury liner St. Aphrodite during its maiden voyage. Kogorou Mouri, his daughter Ran, Conan Edogawa, and the Detective Boys join Sonoko Suzuki’s family trip aboard, but a game of hide-and-seek causes Sonoko to disappear. Soon after, the CEO of the Yashiro Group, which built the St. Aphrodite, is found dead from stab wounds, and her father goes missing. As police struggle to advance, Conan investigates deeper and uncovers the truth. The culprit, determined to avoid capture, threatens to sink the St. Aphrodite, endangering everyone. With water flooding the hull, the motive behind the vengeful killings is revealed. Trapped without escape, Conan and Kogorou confront the elusive murderer before the ship sinks into the ocean depths.
