Synopsis
In a setting reminiscent of medieval Europe, the Holy Knights of Britannia defend the land and its kingdoms using formidable magic. Among their ranks, a faction known as the Seven Deadly Sins is rumored to have betrayed their nation, attempting to seize control of Liones. Though they were defeated by their fellow knights, whispers persisted that the Sinners managed to escape. A decade after these events, the Holy Knights orchestrated a coup, overtaking the Kingdom of Liones and ruling with oppression. The story Nanatsu no Taizai follows Elizabeth, the third princess of Liones, as she embarks on a quest to locate the Seven Deadly Sins. Her aim is to ally with them to free her kingdom from the Holy Knights' unjust rule and restore righteousness to the corrupted realm.
