Shortly after, Ginko encounters Yoshiro, now an adult, as he departs from the mountain. With Yoshiro's assistance, Ginko starts to solve the mystery of the mysterious girl and what happened to her. This story adapts the final arc from the manga, Mushishi Zoku Shou: Suzu no Shizuku, and follows Ginko's remarkable journey into the supernatural as he tries to comprehend the girl Kaya and the mountain that has become her home.
