Synopsis
While Londoners consider dragons nothing more than folklore, statistics reveal that 72% of deaths in the city are actually caused by these grotesque creatures. Since the public cannot see them, they remain completely unaware of their existence. Yet, in a parallel dimension known as "Reverse London," dragons are visible to the naked eye. Ninny Spangcole performs as a member of a popular girl group. However, in Reverse London, she serves as a "Witch" for Wing Bind—an organization that sends agents to eliminate these beasts and safeguard the inhabitants of both Londons using magic. Alongside her partner, Noel Niihashi, Ninny also protects Balgo Ywain Parks, a young man who shares a peculiar bond with the dragons. Thanks to Wing Bind's efforts, no fatal dragon attacks occurred for nearly a century. But this peace shatters when Balgo's unexpected presence triggers a Dark Dragon to rampage through the city. The witches face further complications when Ninny's troublesome former bandmate appears in Reverse London—accompanied by another powerful dragon.
Background
Burn the Witch is based on an action fantasy one-shot manga by Tite Kubo and takes place in the Bleach universe. In October 2020, Burn the Witch collaborated with the mobile gacha game Bleach: Brave Souls, where Ninny Spangcole, Noel Niihashi, and Bruno Bangnyfe feature as playable characters.
