Synopsis
An ancient crocodile, so advanced in years that it had seen the pyramids being constructed, suffered from rheumatism and could no longer hunt its own prey. In desperation, it decided to devour its own great-grandson. Even though its millennia of life commanded great reverence, the family concluded that the crocodile had to be put down. Unable to tolerate this disrespect from its kin, the old crocodile bid farewell to the Nile. One day, it encountered an octopus. The octopus treated her new companion to various fish that she caught specifically for him. When night came, he could not resist eating one of the octopus's arms. From then on, the old crocodile began helping himself to one of the octopus's arms every evening.
