Synopsis
In "Heidi: Girl of the Alps," following the loss of her parents, young Heidi is taken to reside with her grandfather, Öhi, in the Swiss Alps. At first, Öhi is a gruff and unwilling caretaker, accepting her only because of outside demands. However, Heidi's warm and joyful nature may be just what it takes to soften his heart. Together with her newfound companions—the goatherd Peter and Clara, who uses a wheelchair—Heidi sets out on a variety of thrilling experiences.
