Chiharu, a superhuman, and Makina, a cyborg, are arrested for violating space traffic regulations. They end up stuck with a crew of misfits who were caught around the same time: the superhuman duo Akane and Kanata, and the cyborg buddies Kurt and Max. Police officer Ryoko sentences them to cleaning the interplanetary train—the so-called Milky☆Subway—as community service. It seems like a simple job at first until the train suddenly launches into deep space. The crew panics and scrambles in confusion as chaos erupts onboard the train. No purpose, no principle, no point—an unprecedented space-train spectacle powered by nothing but pure momentum.
