In Tokyo during the early 2000s, Isobe, a member of the villainous Ganglion syndicate, is constantly locked in combat. As Isobe puts up with unreasonable superiors amid the rise of the compliance era, their story is told as a workplace drama, capturing the poignant existence of a salaryman soldier.

In "Our Love Has Always Been 10 Centimeters Apart," Miou Aida and Haruki Serizawa appear to be complete opposites to those around them.
