In "Uchuujin Pipi," an alien from space arrives on Earth and becomes close friends with a young boy. Pipi often assists his human companions by offering thoughtful guidance and employing his advanced technology. The show primarily utilizes live-action for its settings and characters, while Pipi and several special effects are presented through animation.

In "Johnny Cypher in Dimension Zero," Johnny Cypher, a tough superagent, uses his power to travel through inner space, especially Dimension Zero, to fight evil across the universe. He is joined by the beautiful blonde Zena and Rhom, a small alien from the Black Star. This series is an early joint project between Japan and America, made by former Disney animator Joe Oriolo for Warner/Seven, a studio created from the merger of Seven Arts Production with Warner Bros. The show began airing in Japan one year after its first broadcast in the US.

Every installment depicts a segment of the narrative where a detective pursues and attempts to apprehend a well-known, self-absorbed thief. The show broadcasted each weekday from Monday through Friday in eight-minute installments, completing one storyline by the week's conclusion.

This three-episode black-and-white series was a short experimental project. It takes some inspiration from Arthur C. Clarke's novel Deep Range. The plot follows the underwater adventures of a boy known as the Dolphin Prince. With his pet dolphin by his side, he wears a wetsuit equipped with a jetpack and fights foes using an aqua-boomerang. The episodes feature his mermaid comrade Neptuna and Dr. Mariner, and the story arcs are titled "Secret of the Red Vortex," "Call of the Sea," and "Attack of the Sea People."

Ganbare! Marine Kid expands upon the earlier Dolphin Ouji series, featuring several changes to set it apart from its predecessor. The title was updated, the main character is now called Marine Kid instead of Dolphin Prince, and Neptuna was renamed to Neptina. New characters were added, and the storyline was enriched. Marine, the son of oceanographer Dr. Mariner who works for the Ocean Patrol, has been genetically enhanced to excel at swimming underwater and uses Oxygum to breathe underwater. Alongside Whitey—known as Splasher in the U.S.—Marine helps his father safeguard the oceans.

This installment of the Marine Boy series consists of 65 episodes, expanding upon the original 1966 show. All 78 episodes were released in the United States. The broadcast schedule in Japan was complex: initially only the first 36 out of 78 episodes aired, but eventually all 78 were shown, with 65 belonging to this series and 13 to the Ganbare! Marine Kid series. Marine is now equipped with an underwater boomerang and a hydrojet, and he is in a romantic relationship with the mermaid Neptuna/Neptina. Additionally, some segments from earlier episodes of Ganbare! Marine Kid were reused in this series.
