In a routine computer class, Saneatsu Narita encounters a peculiar screen displaying a yes-or-no query before vanishing. The following morning, he discovers that nearly the entire world has perished, leaving only a few survivors including himself.
An enigmatic entity known as the Emperor reveals that Saneatsu was part of a game called Tasuketsu. Every day, the remaining survivors face a new question on a screen, and their choice dictates their survival into the next day. Selecting the majority's response leads to death, and the ultimate survivor will gain an audience with the Emperor.
Eager to outsmart the Emperor, Saneatsu intends to utilize secret envelopes containing special abilities to assist the contestants. Alongside his close friends, he must maneuver through the treacherous strategies of the other players and triumph in this harsh contest.
