In the mysterious world of the Cat Planet, where cats of all shapes and sizes live, a solitary Fire Cat wanders. Their fate shifts when a Water Cat comes into their life, creating a short yet deep bond that ends in tragedy as the Water Cat is accidentally vaporized by the Fire Cat's great heat. Grief-stricken, the Fire Cat undertakes a bold journey to restore the Water Cat's spirit.

The feeling of emotional yearning known as love. Every person is a being whose spirit and soul cannot be constrained. The connection between people brings about both positive and negative outcomes, happiness or suffering. Within the current of natural existence, it is the stream added partway and the moisture that evaporates partway. Two exceptionally strong individuals—whether they are correct or not, whether they warrant moral condemnation, whether we need to scrutinize them—ultimately, death, rebirth, and decay are all elements of that current.

Ryoji Yamada, who graduated from Tama Art University in 2011, produced this piece as a way to investigate how the ordinary and extraordinary aspects around us and inside ourselves are always shifting.

This initial animated short from Yokoso Boku desu showcases four eccentric and surreal musical vignettes: Fancy Shirts, Antenna Chon-Mage, The Tea Time, and Strange Genius.

In "Feed," four housekeepers are tasked with preparing and packing meals for children. Those children then feed the livestock, which will later be used to create the meals, forming a continuous循环.

A special screening held at Tokyo's Meguro Museum of Art showcased three animation shorts produced by Junpei Fujita while he was still in school, each employing a distinct animation method. 1. The Seasons (2 minutes; animation) 2. Eaten Up Planet (30 minutes; rotary animation) 3. Insane Ice (48 minutes; pixilation & animation) A remastered edition of "Eaten Up Planet" featuring music by Twoth was eventually issued under the title "Forgotten Planet."

The anime "Tayutaum" centers on a young girl who dreams of turning into a bird. Its title blends "tayutau yume" (floating dream), "hakuchuumu" (daydream), and "aquarium," with the intention of immersing viewers in the sensation of gliding through the sky or drifting underwater.

For this absurd animated piece, thirty frames per second were created using just a pencil tool. A man extends his arm and seizes the nighttime skyline of a far-off city. He and a female companion dash down the length of his arm toward the urban glow. The piece is characterized by a rapid pace and humorous imagery that conveys the feeling of invincibility gained from acquiring a large fortune and the foolishness of allowing joy to escape your grasp.

On an island, a girl accidentally loses her cherished anklet in the sea. A mysterious boy emerges from the water and returns it to her. This heartwarming story delves into both the ocean's beauty and its struggles, emphasizing the growing friendship ignited by the girl's anklet.

Created in 2014, this subtle and graceful animated short film serves as the final year-end project for Kohei Nakaya, a Japanese student at Tama University of Fine Arts in Tokyo. By opting for a silent narrative accompanied by the soft, introspective piano music of Claude Debussy, the film allows the viewer to fully appreciate the delicacy of a teenager's malaise. Light and heartfelt, A Reflection of One's Mind is a very pleasing work. The remarkable maturity and control displayed in its visual storytelling lead us to expect great things from Kouhei Nakaya and his future audience.

After my breakup with my ex-boyfriend, I was crushed, but I still needed to decide on a concept for my next animated film. That's when I had a dream featuring that same ex. This animation is based on that dream. Japan experienced massive earthquakes on March 11, 2011, followed by repeated aftershocks. In addition to the quakes, how to deal with nuclear power remains one of our country's most debated topics. I believe that dream came from a blend of this tense atmosphere in Japan and my own heartbreak and despair. So I "re-mixed" everything that was going on in my mind. Incidentally, he was fond of enemas. That's why in this song, the word "ass" and related terms keep surfacing. They all connect back to memories of him, so I chose to use this song. In the dream, my ex-boyfriend's face was indistinct, so in the animation his face is depicted resembling an anus.

In a ward where strange medical experiments are conducted, a test subject receives daily doses of medication from a nurse. One day, the nurse activates a switch on the test subject, and it successfully transforms into a chimera. As the test subject continues to cling to human desires while seeking non-human forms, what kind of spectacle will emerge from this? And how will this affect the relationship between the subject and the nurse?
