Harry is hardly your typical American teen; he embodies the archetype of the isolated youth, with no friends at school, odd behavior, and intense anxiety that frequently borders on paranoia. After a random occurrence, Harry begins to display what seem to be psychic abilities, even though he finds it hard to accept their reality and can't control them intentionally. At the same time, sinister forces that recognize Harry's capabilities attempt to control and endanger him in disturbing ways.
