Yasumi Utatane is a seasoned voice actor who keeps up a wholesome public image to satisfy her fans, but she struggles to find steady work. Away from the spotlight, she lives a different life as Yumiko Satou, a high school student who prefers casual, attention-grabbing outfits—a stark contrast to her refined professional persona. When Yasumi lands a role in a radio show alongside the talented and charming Yuuhi Yuugure, whom she greatly admires, she meets her co-star at the studio and discovers that Yuuhi is actually her somber classmate, Chika Watanabe. As they work together on the radio program, both Yumiko and Chika gradually drop their facades and, through mutual encouragement, find the confidence to be true to themselves.

Exorcist ninjas, like those from the esteemed Kazamaki clan, are dedicated to defending humanity against these malevolent spirits. To prevent any human-spirit clashes, she brings along her eternal partner, Kurou Sakuragawa, and vows to clear Masayuki's name without exposing Yuki-Onna's true nature.
