Ryousuke Hazuki has fallen for Rokka Shimao, the attractive owner of a local florist, and stops by her shop every day just to see her. Hoping to get closer, he takes a part-time job there. But his romantic plans hit a snag when he discovers that Rokka's apartment is haunted by the ghost of her late husband, Atsushi Shimao, who has been watching over her from the afterlife for three years. Atsushi, visible only to Hazuki, grows fiercely protective and competitive. He actively works to sabotage Hazuki's efforts to win Rokka's heart and even attempts to take control of Hazuki's body. Meanwhile, Hazuki wants the spirit to find peace so Rokka can move on and so he can openly pursue his feelings for her.
