During their final year of high school, Hiroyuki and Akari, together with their close circle of friends, have matured in both body and spirit. Yet one familiar presence is conspicuously absent: the realistic android Multi. To everyone's astonishment, Multi unexpectedly reappears on the school grounds, but the android is not the same Multi they once knew.

In the story "Wind: A Breath of Heart," Okano Makoto returns to his childhood town and begins attending school once more, spending ordinary but happy days alongside his sister Hinata, the energetic classmate Tachibana Tsutomu, Tsutomu's longtime friend Shikouin Kasumi, and the rest of their group. One afternoon, Makoto catches the sound of a harmonica playing, and the melody stirs a faded memory, drawing him up to the school rooftop. There, bathed in the twilight, he encounters a girl. She is Narukaze Minamo, smiling at him—the two were close friends as children, but years have passed since they last met. Concealing their true feelings, Makuto and his companions continue their routine school life. The stories of this mysterious town are about to unfold.

The first season introduces the five main characters, exploring their backgrounds, histories, and ambitions. Orpherus, Eduard, Camus, Lui, and Naoji are noblemen attending the prestigious Rozenstolz academy, where they belong to the Strahl class—a program designed to train potential candidates for advisory positions in the royal palace of the small European country of Kuchen. Meanwhile, Isaac, an English writer, arrives in Kuchen as a visitor. Still students, the five noblemen find themselves confronting corrupt politicians, secret agents, attempted murder, and ambitious individuals from both within and outside the school, all of whom threaten to disrupt the fragile peace of their country and even plot to assassinate the king.

After the end of ef - a tale of memories, Asou Renji returns to the station with Chihiro. The two reflect on their past together in this recap of the earlier season, accompanied by newly added interlude scenes.

Juggling her job at Kiri-Pro Promotion Company and fighting against Ungrar's loyal follower, the Magical Maid Koyori, Komugi brings humor and excitement to this parody anime series.

In "Someday's Dreamers," Yume Kikuchi, a magical girl, travels to Tokyo to train under the famous mage Masami Oyamada. As she becomes absorbed in the city, Yume focuses on perfecting her magic, assisting people in need, and collecting life experiences necessary for her development into a full-fledged mage. However, she slowly comes to understand that genuine happiness cannot be attained through magic by itself.

Kei Shindou—Hiro's childhood friend who has harbored a crush on him for a long time—starts to feel jealous, leading to a love triangle. The series also follows the story of Renji Asou. One day, he encounters Chihiro Shindou, Kei Shindou's twin sister, at an abandoned train station. Although she is very timid, they get along quite well and begin meeting at the same spot every day. However, Renji learns that Chihiro was in a car accident years ago and, as a result, suffers from a condition where her memory only lasts for 13 hours. Despite this, after discovering that Chihiro's dream is to write a novel, Renji resolves to help her achieve that dream while also trying to help her overcome the challenges posed by her condition.

In the perpetually dark underground city of Lux, its inhabitants live under constant fear, dominated by the oppressive rule of rival criminal factions. Cut off from the world above, these groups only interact through the extraction of "raffia," the mineral that sustains Lux's existence. This unique substance, found only in Lux, is crucial for "texhnolyze" operations, which allow people to replace their body parts with cybernetic limbs that do not trigger immune rejection. The mysterious "Class" organization researches these transplants and controls raffia production, granting executive power to Organo, a group led by Keigo Oonishi, who has texhnolyzed legs and is said to hear the "voice of the city." Lux's fragile balance of power shatters when an enigmatic stranger, Kazuho Yoshii, instigates a series of crimes that spark conflicts among the gangs. In the resulting turmoil, new figures emerge: Ichise, a former boxer who was crippled by Organo and recently fitted with texhnolyzed limbs by Eriko "Doc" Kamata; and Ran, a young florist who possesses the ability of foresight. First, the enigmatic immigrant Vincent Law vanishes, followed by the appearance of a monstrous entity that shakes Re-l to her core. This creature proves far more perilous and sinister than it initially appears. Every mystery she investigates ultimately circles back to this being. What is its true nature? What is its purpose? Is it a harbinger of the end or the dawn of something new? Whatever it is, it continually pulls her toward Vincent, eventually leading her to join him on a journey to another domed world known as Mosk. As they traverse the scarred and desolate Earth, Re-l and Vincent uncover more about the monster and the "awakening," a phenomenon that may signal an ending rather than a beginning.
