Chalk-iro no People is an OVA series consisting of five short episodes adapted from Seizou Watase's romantic manga. The episodes are titled "Building Without Tide," "Brother and Sister," "Sometimes I'm Happy," "I've Saved the Sidecar for You," and "The Santa Quartet."

Based on the erotic game by NekoNeko Soft. Brother Kenji and his younger sister Yuki live in a house where their parents are often away. Yuki secretly harbors feelings for her older brother Kenji. However, one night, a girl suddenly appears from inside Kenji's closet. Strangely, her body is transparent, and she looks like a ghost. Her name is Hiyori, a childhood friend of both siblings. Though Kenji and Yuki are bewildered by Hiyori's unusual appearance, they are happy to be reunited. Yet as Kenji and Hiyori grow closer, Yuki's feelings become unsettled, and painful memories from childhood resurface. When they were children, Yuki intended to give Hiyori the light blue toy ring that Kenji had, in exchange for Hiyori's yoyo. But Hiyori fell ill and moved away, so the promise was never fulfilled. Those childhood events seem to be connected to Hiyori's sudden appearance before them. A painful love story unfolds involving Kenji and the two girls.
