While enjoying an evening at a nightclub, private detective Junpei Touma witnesses a man stagger in and collapse onto the dance floor. As he rushes to help, the dying man hands him a floppy disk and begs him to deliver it to someone named Takashiro. Drawn into the mystery, Junpei partners with his colleague Akira Nagareyama to investigate further. They soon realize that the data on the disk is fiercely pursued by dangerous individuals willing to use violence to obtain it.
