Yukari Morita sets out to locate her father, who vanished somewhere in the South Seas. For a high school student, traveling alone to the Solomon Islands is a daunting endeavor, but her search takes an unexpected twist when she encounters an astronaut affiliated with the Solomon Space Association (SSA). This organization is working to build a rocket capable of carrying people into space.
When SSA director Nasuda meets the petite Yukari, he realizes she might be light enough to fly using the lower-powered rocket the SSA has already constructed. He makes her a deal: if she agrees to serve as their astronaut, the SSA will assist in tracking down her lost father. Does Yukari have what it takes to undertake this extraordinary space mission?
