When we make contact with something, our awareness can travel to a place that exists neither in the past nor in the future. In a world that is uncertain and constantly changing, only the sensation of the body touching something—which exists solely in this immediate reality—can be recognized as “now.” That instant is precious. Created as a tribute to the late filmmaker Sadao Yamanaka, this short film unfolds in the darkened streets of Edo. When night falls, a figure stirs in the attic: Nezumi Kozō Jirokichi, a chivalrous thief who steals from the rich to give to the poor. The human drama playing out on the city's streets is brought to life by several key figures. There is Suzu, a widowed merchant struggling to raise her young child; Bonji, Yasugoro, and Chogoro, who attempt to manipulate Suzu into revealing Nezumi Kozō's true identity; and Kan'emon, a seasoned detective who despises crime yet cares deeply for the people involved. This narrative is a vision dreamed up by director Sadao Yamanaka. The work premiered at the 1st Niigata International Anime Festival on March 20th, 2023.

The story of "Daisy's Life" centers on the emotional path of six-year-old Daisy after she tragically loses her mother and finds it hard to adjust to living with her aunt. During a night when she cannot sleep, Daisy meets an enigmatic girl named Dahlia at her window. The time they spend together starts to go beyond ordinary space and time, giving a vast, cosmic viewpoint to Daisy's simple existence in a downtown yakisoba restaurant.

North is everywhere, yet solitary. This encompasses all of North and serves as a record of the people encountered within these Norths. However, memory is fragmented and fails to grasp the true point, leading to doubts that all efforts amounted to nothing. Existence is only occasionally recognized through the dull pain that shifts shape bit by bit. According to Yamamura Kouji, the basis for the animated film "Dozens of Norths" is a series of cover illustrations and short texts created across 32 issues of the monthly literary magazine "Bungaku-Kai" (Published by Bungeishunju) from April 2012 to December 2014. By fantasizing about a fictional movie, each independent cover was envisioned as a scene from one larger story, with accompanying text written for each illustration. This is a joint production between 'Yamamura Animation' based in Japan and 'Miyu Productions' based in France. The film held its world premiere at the '8th New Chitose Airport International Animation Festival' on November 6, 2021.

A clever preteen named Karin is left behind by her father in the countryside of Japan. She stays at a temple with her grandpa and meets a huge "ghost cat" called Anzu, a well-known slacker who's supposed to watch over her. Not trusting her new caretaker, Karin messes up Anzu's odd jobs for the local people and becomes friends with the strange forest spirits nearby. Trying to gain Karin's trust, Anzu unknowingly strikes a bargain with the devil, causing total chaos.

The Obinata Fireworks Shop factory is being readied for an administrative confiscation action tomorrow. Six years have passed since Keitaro shut himself inside a defunct factory, crafting fireworks alone as he pursued the illusion of his vanished father. The story follows three young people who surmount extreme weather, disasters, and environmental hardships thrust upon them, forging their own identities.
