The protagonist enrolls at Powerful High School to pursue his baseball dreams. There, he reunites with his childhood friend Subaru Hoshii, who seems to have forgotten their shared promise to play at Summer Koshien.

The kingdom of Noigllado launches a sudden invasion of the small nation of Azuelgatt, pushing it to the brink of annihilation. At the head of Noigllado's forces is General Adnowell, who sets their sights on the fortress of Doroah, Azuelgatt's last stronghold. Standing in defense of this fortress is the formidable warrior Shamshir.

The final DVD volume includes two special episodes: Tokimeki no Yuuki Episode 18 (also numbered 17.5), which never aired on television. It focuses on Utsumi Koayu, the swim team captain. Tokimeki no Sentaku Episode 25.5, a recap that sums up all episodes except the final one. It debuted at the Konami booth during the 2007 Anime Fair.

After the magical flying device from the earlier OVA is destroyed, the Magic Academy crashes into the earth, inadvertently breaking a demon seal and unleashing numerous ancient demons into the surrounding woods.
