Dame Oyagi follows Damesuke Amano, a luckless office worker subjected to relentless harassment both at work and, even more so, at home, where—contrary to traditional Japanese family dynamics—he holds absolutely no authority or influence over household matters whatsoever. Amano lives with his wife, Onibaba, his beautiful teenage daughter Yukiko, and his elementary-school-aged son Takobo. Onibaba is an imposing, violently brutish woman who regularly scolds and even physically attacks her husband, taking great pleasure in making his life as miserable as possible; Yukiko and Takobo frequently join in, subjecting their father to both physical and psychological abuse. The original manga is said to have been quite shocking to early 1970s Japan, where the father was still often traditionally regarded as the head of the household.

Hanabishi is an unruly delinquent recognized for his brutal violence and sense of chivalry. He gets into fights with yakuza, other miscreants, and occasionally the police, building a fearsome reputation that gathers a few followers but also creates dangerous rivals among the school gang heads.

Endowed with incredible strength, he subdues the arrogant lords of the Dog, Monkey, and Pheasant, who then join him as he sets off to conquer the ogres of Onigashima island.

Following an accident that caused her to lose her memory, Sue was taken in by Torao and his family. Even though she could not recall her past, she still felt a deep longing to become a singer. Eventually, it was revealed that Sue had originally been part of a band she formed together with her twin sisters. Her journey to reaching the summit of the music charts would prove to be full of trials and difficulties.

After a series of attacks on ships and submarines carried out by a mysterious entity, Submarine 707 is dispatched to track it down. A whale leads them to the sunken continent of Mu. During the voyage, they encounter the enigmatic attacker, who is revealed to be Commander Red Silver, a figure who has invaded Mu in order to take control of its magma resources. Submarine 707 then fights to stop Red Silver and defend both Mu and the entire world from additional destruction.

"New Attacker You!" is a Japanese-Chinese anime television series consisting of 52 episodes. It serves as the sequel to the well-known "Attacker You!" and was produced 24 years after the original aired. Knack Productions created this second animated series in 2008 to coincide with the Beijing Olympics that same year. Directed by Tomoharu Katsumata, it initially broadcast in China on the Cartoon Darian channel and was later released directly on DVD in Japan, bypassing television broadcast.

The Gaira aliens are secretly based in the Arctic, hatching plans to take over the world. After being abducted, Dr. Yan is compelled to build their ultimate weapon—a transformable aerial robot called Groizer X. He later hands it over to his daughter Rita, who manages to flee the Gaira and crash-lands in Japan. There, Rita encounters Jo Kaisaka, who takes on the role of Groizer X's pilot. Jo and Rita then join forces to battle the invading Gaira forces.

In "Seigi wo Aisuru Mono Gekkou Kamen," the true identity of Moonlight Mask is never revealed, and in the original series the character is even credited as "?". Moonlight Mask wears white tights, a white-and-red cape, a white scarf, yellow gloves and boots, dark glasses, a face cloth, and an Indian-style turban with a moon-shaped ornament. He uses a whip, two six-shooters, shuriken, and moon-shaped boomerangs, and also rides a motorcycle. The audience suspects that detective Juurou Iwai may be Moonlight Mask, since he mysteriously disappears just before the masked hero arrives on his motorcycle to save the day. However, his comedic sidekick Gorohachi Fukuro, his friend Inspector Matsuda, and the children Shigeru, Kaboko, and Fujiko have no idea about Iwai's secret identity.

This delightfully odd children’s cartoon was rediscovered in 2007 by Japanese fans, who were drawn to its peculiar artwork, clumsy animation, and fantastically inept storytelling—some episodes of which have been completely banned from Japanese TV.

The anime Attacker You! follows You Hazuki, a spirited and determined 13-year-old girl in junior high school. You's younger brother Sunny is deeply attached to her and follows her everywhere, including to school and volleyball matches. You is also intrigued by Kyushi Tajima, a pretty blonde woman she sees covering volleyball on TV, and wonders why her father becomes angry whenever You mentions her. You is passionate about volleyball and dreams of joining Japan's national women's team for the 1988 Seoul Olympics. She joins her school's girls' volleyball team and quickly becomes a top player, though her coach—who is also her homeroom teacher—is harsh and physically slaps players when they fall short. She begins a tumultuous friendship with former school volleyball champion and former rival Nami Hayase (French name: "Peggy"), which escalates when the two join opposing professional teams. You also develops a crush on So Takiki, captain of the Hikawa boys' volleyball team (known as "Shiro," "Serge," or "Sergio" in various Western versions), and puts as much effort into winning his heart as into her game.
