Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha

Aimi Miyoshi and Nami Sometani, two high school students, are united by their shared interest in their ordinary classmate, Ken Kirio. Most of their time together is spent talking about Kirio and daydreaming about becoming closer to the boy they typically only watch from a distance. For the most part, Aimi and Nami are content with how things are, though sometimes they feel a bit jealous of people who have more direct contact with their crush. Still, this rarely motivates them to act on their feelings.

At the top of Tenikai General Hospital sits the unusual Department of Investigative Pathology, led by the eccentric Dr. Takao Ameku. This small team, made up of Takao and her only assistant, Yuu "Kotori" Takanashi, takes on difficult medical puzzles that leave other hospital units stumped. Driven by a love for mysteries, Takao frequently dives into baffling cases, much to the irritation of coworkers and local police. While her involvement creates headaches for both the hospital and those around it, there is no denying her remarkable diagnostic talents. Working together, Takao and the sometimes hesitant Takanashi can solve any medical riddle, no matter what kind it is.
