Ren Fujii is an ordinary high school student who recently ended a friendship after a conflict with his former best friend, leaving him without that close bond. With the support of Kasumi Ayase, his childhood friend, and Rea Himuro, a senior, Ren slowly resumes his normal school routine.
Then, a wave of brutal murders breaks out in the town, with victims found decapitated. At the same time, Ren begins experiencing unsettling dreams in which he is executed by a guillotine. These nightmares foreshadow the violent and deadly conflicts that lie ahead.
