Kokomom is a fully computer-generated anime adaptation of the Kokekko-san picture books by Karoku-Kobo. It follows the everyday life of Kokekko-san, a motherly egg with chicken-like features, as she looks after her chicks. Every episode features two separate short stories.

In a future timeline of Duel Masters, Shobu is absent and the game has shifted to virtual headset technology rather than physical cards. Teru Yumemi, his sister Cocoro, and Rei Kukami—the keeper of the ARC pendant containing the Great Spirit of Duel Masters—must safeguard it from the sinister group Nest, which is searching for the person capable of unlocking its power.

Kirari Tsukishima is a 14-year-old girl who loves eating above all else. She has no interest in idols or the entertainment industry, and her constant focus on food leaves her completely clueless about romance. One day, Kirari rescues a turtle stuck in a tree and meets a kind, handsome boy named Seiji. To thank her for saving his pet, he gives her a ticket to a concert by SHIPS, a popular idol group.
